Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic
With your primary controller plugged into the first port, plug a second controller into the fourth port.
At any time, you can use the second controller to change the pitch of the voice acting.
Black Button: Lower pitch (Barry White) White Button: High pitch (like Michael Jackson)
Go to Manaan and down into the underwater facility. Equip your teammates with the armor and accessories
that you want to duplicate and save(very important)right in front of one of the pressurised door.
Now, unequip all of the things you want duplicated from your teammates and go into the pressurised door.Go right back in
and you will notice that your teammates' equipment are back on. And more importantly, you will notice that there is a duplicate
of each item added to your inventory. You can do this as many times as you want, and as far as I know, it causes absolutely
no problems. It's your choice to keep it, or sell it for big bucks.
Also note that when you duplicate an upgraded weapon, all the items that are in it are duplicated too. So, you don't have
to worry about things like evenly distributing crystals to all of your jedis lightsabers. Just make your best lightsaber,
and duplicate it.
Cheat: Darth Dancing Girl
Skip the final Malak fight by turning him into a Twi'lek dancing girl and boogie down. This trick can
simply be performed by pressing both triggers and Y on both controllers simultaneously. Malak turns into a green dancing girl,
you both dance, and you leave right after.
To get the Zal Armor, simply go to the unknown planet and work with the one and not the elders. Outside
the one's base, talk to the war leader. He will ask you to kill the Mandalorian raiders outside the temple. Do this and bring
back the head of the leader and give it to the war leader. He will then lead you to a footlocker and inside is the Zal Armor
and a few other "helpful" items.
Hint: Infinite Experience
In the dueling room on Korriban, there's a computer that lets you fight prisoners. Once you get your
computer skill to the level that allows you to use 0 spikes to Hack Into Security Cameras or Hack Into Sith Database
Files, just select that choice a few times and when you exit the computer interface, you'll get a load of experience.
If you've discovered the secret bounty organization, then no doubt you will have been assigned a mission
involving killing a slave trader named Zuulan as part of your initiation into the society.
When you find Zuulan's
speeder, select the option which sets off his alarm. Zuulan and his thugs come running, and no matter what conversation option
you choose, combat is the end result (remember that you MUST BE ALONE for these missions).
Instead of attacking your
assailants, choose to "use" the speeder again, and this time select the option which affixes the frag mine to the hull of
the craft. As a result of this, you will kill the Zuulan who comes running out to his speeder and gets blown away by your
bomb, but at the same time, a second Zuulan and cronies is spawned very near by. Pick up the credits and equipment off of
the dead Zuulan and then round the corner to engage in conversdation with the other Zuulan and kill him as well (an easy battle).
You'll get twice the stuff and twice the XP, plus if you're a light sided character who needs the credits, you don't
gain the extra dark side points for killing him! It's a win-win situation.
Hint: Infinite Computer Spikes
When you know that you're going to need some computer spikes you know that you can go to T3-M4 in your
ship to get them but unfortunately he won't give you any if you have 11 or more in your inventory. The best way around this
is to go to your supply cargo and deposit your inventory of computer spikes and then go back and get some more from T3-M4.
This can be very time consuming because you can only deposit one at a time but you can extract them all at once when you need
them. When you know you'll need them retrieve them and hack the hell out of the system.
Hint: Unlimited Money (Dark Side)
When your character gets to Korriban, head to the Sith academy, outside the tombs (where the archeologists
are) and be sure to take Juhani with you. There is a character off to the left in the Valley of the Dark Lords named Dak Vesser.
Ask him who he is and Juhani will recognize him as a lost Jedi lover. Dak is bitter and will leave and be in the cantina.
Go there and talk with him WITHOUT Juhani. You will be able to tell him that you are going to kill him and you will fight.
After you kill him, collect his remains, including 150 credits and a lightsaber crystal.
Now go out of the cantina
and take a left to the valley where the entrance to the Sith Academy is, and turn right back around and go into the cantina
again. Dak should be alive (as long as Juhani is not with you), so you can talk to him and kill him over and over again! The
lightsaber crystals you get from Dak are worth nearly 2000 credits each on Yavin 4. You also receive a lot of Dark Side points
if you opt to do this.
Unlockable: Earn Different Endings
Finish game on the Light Side (by doing good deeds and denying the Dark Side) to see the Light
Side ending. Finish game on the Dark Side (by doing evil and accepting the Dark path) to see the Dark Side ending.
Hint: Kill Good Guys on Tatooine
After helping the men defend the Sand Crawler in the desert, put on Sand People outfits (taken from dead
Sand Folk) and return to the Sand Crawler. The men will attack you, thinking you are enemies. You are free to defend yourself
and kill them. Truly an evil act.
Hint: Scare the Crap Out of People on Taris
When you get the Sith uniform on Taris, put it on. Don't go to the Lower City yet. Instead, walk around
upper Taris and talk to people. They're all scared of you now. Go and harass the people at the Clinic for more chuckles.
Be careful when picking your Force Powers and Skills when leveling up. Once you reach level 20 (combined
levels of character class and Jedi class), you can no longer level up. Make sure you have everything you want before that
final level up.
On Manaan, if you choose to poison the big fish in order to kill it, you'll also poison the water. This
causes a massive shortage in medpacs for the rest of the game, driving their prices sky-high.
At any time during a battle you can pause and save the game. When in a boss battle, be sure to save at
least once. This way if the tide turns and you get jacked up, you can restart the fight midway through.
For the final fight against Malak, after you've taken down most of his health, the Dark Lord will begin
draining power from captive Jedi. You need to destroy the statis chambers with the captured Jedi inside. Use Destroy Droid
if you have it. Malak boosts his power with these, so run around the entire arena destroying them (including the two on the
upper tier). Then use Force Wave to knock down Malak. You must use Force Immunity or suffer some serious pain. Use Force Wave,
heal, Force Wave, Heal. Continue on this pattern until he is nearly dead. Then finish off with a sabre duel.
Hint: Heal By Leveling Up
If you're in the midst of a fight and notice an "up arrow" icon over a character's face, pause during
the battle and level that character up without having to use a Medpac. (Anytime you level up all of your health is restored).
Boss fights and many big fights can be seen on the horizon. When you know you are about to have a big
fight, shoot up your party members with stimulants and activate your energy shields. The time limit of the stimulants is real
time during convos. So when bosses begin talking, hit A repeatedly to quickly move to the battle, so your stimulants are still
active during the fight. Using stimulants will greatly improve your chances of survival.
Hint: Wave Your Lightsaber Around
Once you get a lightsaber (or two) press Y at any time it is equipped but disengaged to make the light
sword appear. Continuing to press Y will make it look like your character is attending a rave.
On Kashyyk, in the Shadow Lands, if you run into a Tach, "speak" to it, and it will do a little flip.
Not very helpful, but kind of cute.
Hint: Infinite Light Side Points
This is a bug that should get you infinite light side points. When you first meet Rahasia you should
tell her that you are not interested in finding the son. This will get you Dark side points. Then talk to her again and apologize
and then say you aren't interested again. You should get light side points for this. Repeat the apologizing, and denying as
many times as needed until you have full light side points.
Hint: Bastila's Black Skivvies
Dress Bastila in a Dark Jedi robe, then remove all of her clothing/armor and she'll be in dark, sexy
Sith underwear.
Hint: Quick Dark Side Points
When you leave Dantooine and head to Tatooine, you'll find a girl named Sasha who has stowed away on
the Ebon Hawk. Keep on telling her to leave the ship as many times as you can before she actually leaves. You'll gain Dark
Side Points each time you tell her to leave. If done enough times you'll reach the "Absolute Dark Side Level" (you'll know
because the background has sparking fire behind your character)
Hint: Malak Boss Fight (Dark Side)
I'm sure some of you Dark Jedi have figured this out already but for the newbies or those in need, here's
a cool trick: During the final Malak battle, beat up Malak until he explains how he kills the Jedi in Stasis tubes. You can
do the same! How? If you have either Drain Life or Death Field, beat up Malak until either he runs away to heal or if you
need to heal, cast a Speed power (or just run from Malak but it helps with a Speed power), target a Jedi with a RED status
bar, and cast. You'll get between 48 and 230 health, depending on what attack you use. This is one benefit of being a Dark
Jedi!
After arriving on the planet Taris (and getting a Sith uniform) don't go to the lower city just yet.
Instead, go to the Equipment Emporium and if the Sith body armor is equipped some items are discounted.
A lot of times, you'll find yourself using medpacs at the beginning of the game because your ability
to take a bullet isn't that great. However, don't use your Medpacs on the Endar Spire, as long as you're in that situation,
you cannot die. Don't bother wasting them when you don't have to.
Hint: Economising Medpacs
When in a tough fight, using medpacs from your Action Menu take precious seconds away from your attacks,
making the fight that much tougher. Instead of using your action menu, just press start, go to your inventory, then utility
items, and use your medpack from there. This way you aren't getting attacked while trying to select your medpack. Or you can
go to the options menu and tell the game to pause every time you access your action menu.
Hint: Infinite Dark Side Points #2
On Manaan, when you return to the surface using the submersible, you speak to Roland Wann from the Republic
Embassy. He will ask you to keep your business together a secret at which time you can tell him a bribe would ensure your
silence. Saying this will earn you a dark side point. You can then talk to him repeatedly doing the same thing and earning
dark side points.
A legitimate manner to gain XP is to hunt the Dune Seas of Tattooine. The Desert Wraids are bountiful
and come in packs of 4. You'll earn about 2000 xp after each pack. When you're done with them, simply use the map function
to go back to the Ebon Hawk, heal, and return.
Hint: Cure Poison For Nada
If you get poisoned or attacked by a force power that life drains your character after battle, simply
talk to any one of your party members and you will automatically be poison free.
Hint: Beat Malak with Ease
It pays to play the Dark Side. In the final fight with Malak, use your Dark Field Force power on the
captured Jedi to fully heal yourself. Light Side Jedi need not apply.
The best Jedi Robes in the game are made, not found. As we all know by now, the Star Forge is a factory,
not a fortress, and I bet you want to know if you can make that factory work for you. Well, you can. On Deck 2 in the Star
Forge, you can take a left or a right. If you take the left path you can get to a computer room. In the computer room, slice
the computers, and one will let you make 3 rather crappy armors but also let you make customized robes. If you're of the light
side, the robe gives you +5 defense, +2 to all saves, and +5 wisdom.
Hint: Beat Calo Nord #2 Easily
While on Tatooine, you will go into the cave of the krayt dragon after it is dead to retreive the star
map. When you come out you will fight Calo Nord and a band of mercinary scum. You should do the Krayt Dragon mission first
as later on in the game Calo is extremely tough to beat if you don't beat him during this mission.
You can easily gain two Krayt Dragon Pearls simply by following the Dark Side. After killing the Krayt
Dragon on Tatooine, demand more money for the task (from the Twi'lek who conceived the mission). When he refuses to give in,
kill him and loot his body for a pearl. A second pearl should be in the Krayt Dragon. Both should upgrade your lightsaber
considerably.
Hint: More Money for Race Bonds
Don’t sell the race bonds you get from the Hutt on Tatooine to any old merchant for 60 credits.
Go to Yavin Station (Xbox Live upgrade) and the trader there will pay you 156 credits each!
On Dantooine during your Jedi training you will be sent to investigate someDark power emanations in the
wilderness. When you find Juhani, you can turn her to the Light Side and have her join your party, or you can threaten to
kill her. Do so and you will set off an interesting chain of events that not only lose you Juhani as a party member (since
she's dead) but sends another Jedi member towards the Dark Side.
Hint: Infinite Dark Side Points #3
On Dantooine after you fight Juhani, go back to Master Vandar and Ahlan Matale will come in and blab
on. Go to the Matales' house and say you come on behalf of the Jedi council and Mr.Matale will come out. He will try to bribe
you. When he does say, "Make it 2,000." He will deny you, but keep on doing it and you'll get infinite points.
This is kind of hard if you are not playing on easy mode.(of course you can always switch back). When
you are on the endar spire you are required to level up. After that you can level up when ever you feel like it. If you do
not level up your character until after you become a jedi you will gain Jedi levels rather than Scout, soldier or scoundrel.
This means you will become a more powerful Jedi before you even get off of Dantoine! By level 20 you will have more force/Jedi
powers and abilities.
Hint: Watch Hidden Ending
Plug two controllers into your Xbox. Outside the doors to the final battle with Malak (don't open them!),
push down both triggers and press the Y Button on both controllers at the same time. You'll need a third hand
or a friend to pull this off.
On the Ebon Hawk, talk to each member of your crew. You can ask each one to make you specific items:
- Mission - Security Spike/Play Pazaak
- Canderous - Arenal stimulants
- HK-47 - Fighter simulation (shooting mini-game)
- Jolee - Medpack
- T3-M4 - Computer Spike
- Zaalbar - Grenades
- Juhani - Annoying accent and whining
- Bastila - Crazy visions
- Carth - Goatee styling tips
Talk to the other members of your party often. Most have an extra side quest that can only be activated
by talking to them at least 8 times during the game. Sometimes it takes even more. Bastila's, for example, has you searching
for her mother on Tatooine and Carth's has you hunting for his lost son.
Hint: Finding Party Members
Bastila - Jedi Human - Taris Canderous - Mandalorian Soldier - Taris Carth - Human Soldier - Endar
Spire HK-47 - Combat Droid - Tatooine (buy him in the droid shop) Jolee Bindo - Jedi Human - Kashyyyk Juhani - Jedi
Guardian - Dantooine (don't kill her!) Mission - Tw'lek Scoundrel - Taris Zaalbar - Wookie Scout - Taris T3-M4 -
Expert Droid - Taris
Anytime you are in a safe area (not in combat or inside a room) you can instantly heal yourself. Go to
the Map screen in the pause menu and hit the X Button to instantly leap back to the Ebon Hawk. Your party members will be
magically healed. You can then select the Map screen and hit X again to jump back to where you just were.
Hint: Infinite Dark Side Points
When you arrive on Tatooine, you'll find a girl named Sasha who has stowed away on the Ebon Hawk. Keep
on telling her to leave the ship as many times as you can before she actually leaves. You'll gain Dark Side Points each time
you tell her to leave. If done enough times you'll reach the "Absolute Dark Side Level" (you'll know because the background
has sparking fire behind your character).
First off you have to have the Sith armor and there's two ways to do this.
- Go to the Upper City Cantina and befriend the Sith lady in there. After she Invites you to the Sith party go to the north
apartments. Party with them until they all faint then search the backpack to get the armor.
- Go to the north apartments and you will see a guy getting interrogated by the Sith.
- Kill them all and save the guy then search the Sith body to get the armor.
- After you have the armor go into the Lower city and Walk forwards a little bit until you get to the Hidden Bek base. Now
equip Carth with the Sith armor and then take him out of your party. Now enter the Hidden Bek base and speak to Gadon Thek.
Trade the Sith armor for the Papers but instead of losing the armor you just get the papers!
There are some certain events (i.e.: removing Dia's bounty = light, fighting Bendak Starkiller = dark),
that give you light or dark points. Well, if you pause the game right after the dialogue, save your game, and then load it,
you will continue where you saved, but won't have gained any light or darkside points!
Want to get on stage with the musicians in the Upper Taris Cantina? Of course you do. To manage this
trick, walk against the corner of the stage and press the Black Button several times. This cycles through party members and
will end up popping one of them on stage. Now sing a song for all the word!
As you are in battle you can pause the game (press the start button) go to useable items and you can
heal or turn on energy sheilds without actually lossing a turn. you can only do this once per turn though but you still dont
lose that turn.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith
Lords
The Cheat Node is a menu that can be accessed in the backrooms of the Jekk'Jekk Tar tunnels. Much like
the galaxy droid from the original game, there are interesting features in this hidden menu. Some of them skip you ahead in
the area, such as 'Skip to final final sequence', while others seemingly do nothing, such as 'Delete Mira'.
To access
the Cheat Node, you need to climb out of the pit after defeating your opponent (Mira or Hanharr). Go through the door that
leads out of the pit, after defeating the Ubese, then take the left most door. There is another door straight ahead of this
where the Node is. Upon entering this room, defeating the 3 Ubese, and immediately after you defeat the last Ubese, you need
to move your character to the wall directly opposite of the door and keep moving towards it.
If done correctly, your
targeting reticule will go blue and select the wall for a split second. Hit A immediately. You are now in conversation mode
with a Ubese who is beh ind the wall in the room with the Exit. You are now able to access the Cheat Node.
Add a controller to the fourth port and press BLACK or WHITE to raise and lower their voice.
Cheat: Unlimited Dark Side Points
At one point during the Czerka/Ithorian Conflict on Telos, a band of Mercenaries attack the Ithorian
Complex. You receive a call from Mozo, who is holed up in the vivarium. When you come to his rescue and wipe out the Mercenaries,
he thanks you and offers you a keycard. Ask for a reward, and when he offers you none, leave him to fend for himself, and
then say "Better you than me". You will receive dark side points. The best part is, you can keep repeating this over and over
again for as long as you want for unlimited dark side points!
Whenever the Handmaiden teaches you more fighting moves, you both remove the clothes or armor you are
wearing. After you fight, she does not put her clothes back on herself. Instead of going to the Equip screen and reequipping
her with her robes; put clothes on yourself and talk to her and tell her that she should put some clothes on. She will then
put on her robes and when you check the inventory, you'll find you have more than one. This works every time you have the
conversation with her. No one else can equip the robes, but they do bring in a couple thousand credits for each. They can
also be broken down into components.
Cheat: Infinite Experience
On Narshadaa there is a speeder that needs to be repaired. Get the navigation interface from the droid
vendor or shop and install one part. Choose to repair the speeder and it will give you the experience and the part back. Repeat
this to gain infinite experience.
Cheat: Easily Win Swoop Race
This works in every swoop race except for the one on Nar Shadaa. Purposely direct your swoop craft into
a striped barrier. Just before you hit the wall hit the START button. This will bring up an option to forfeit the race. Hit
A and the swoop will drift forward a bit until it hits the wall. Your race time will be whatever time was displayed when you
crashed.
On the secret Jedi base on Telos, you can speak to the handmaiden repeatedly to gain infinite light side
points.
Cheat: Duplicate Lightsaber
To duplicate a lightsaber use a work bench and update a Jedi companion’s lighsaber. Change the
color crystals (needed to work) and assemble. Select the same saber and click color crystal again but don’t change,
on the screen that shows all the color crystals press X. you should now have two of the same light sabers in your inventory.
Save and reload so the game doesn’t glitch and restart.
You can have three crystals in one saber. For this to work you need 2 of the same crystal. Remove all
of the power crystals from your saber and assemble. Now place a good crystal in the bottom slot. Exit the work bench after
you assemble. Reenter the work bench and on the saber put the same crystal in top as you did in the bottom and assemble. Now
don’t exit the workbench but go back into the saber assembly and there should be a free spot on the bottom. Now you
have 3 crystals in your saber. Save and reload so it doesn’t glitch.
Unlockable: Secret Compartment on Ebon Hawk
Ask the "Original owner" of the Ebon Hawk (Nar Shaadda) for proof of ownership of the Ebon Hawk and he
will rattle off Ebon Hawk facts including the location of 2 secret compartments. They can’t be found unless you do this.
Sadly the smugglers compartment was removed. But one secret compartment remains in the starboard side. Be "nice" to the chap.
Upon the participation of the invasion/defense of Onderon Palace, you will find a terminal with (3) numerical
riddles which only have a one shot chance. You fail, it is locked permanently.
The codes are: 1)66 2)45 3)39 Inside
this locked room is a rare item called the Ultima Pearl. It is a rare light saber crystal that contains stats: Damage +2,
Attack +3, and Mass Criticals 1-6.
Unlockable: Mira and the Force
Later in the game after you have high influence with Mira (after Nar Shaada) there are a new line of
questions that appear. Eventually a topic will come about Kreia telling you about the forces Nar Shaada posses. At one time
in front of the cantina/pazakk entrance a split screen appeared and she spoke of the forces around you. Speak to Mira after
gaining high influence over her and the option to show here the force of Nar Shaada will become available. Tell her you will
take her to the spot where Kreia showed you earlier and then take her to the spot. Another split screen will appear without
you bringing up a dialogue box.
Duplicate lightsaber forever
Once you get Visas Mar as a character (do not kill her)and after you get your lightsaber, equip it to
Visas. Go to any workbench select her lightsaber and change the crystal color (middle box) by selecting assemble and then
go back into her lightsaber but do not do anything but press assemble again. You will have two of the exact same lightsaber.
Exit the workbench and press start and then save after you saved, load the game. You will have the duplicated lightsaber forever.
Hint: Unlimited Experience
In the Sith tomb inside the Shyrack cave on Korriban there is room that contains the body of a dead Jedi.
Every time you search the body a pair of Hssiss appears in the room. Keep searching and killing to level up as much as you
want. The death field power speeds things up and keeps you healthy in the process.
Hint: Nar Shadah Lock Code
On Nar Shadah there is a locking mechanism that you'll need to get past in order to save one of your
characters.
You must make the top code match the bottom code to proceed. Simply pick Rotate middle set counter-clockwise,
Rotate left set counter-clockwise, Rotate right set clockwise.
Hint: Persuade Handmaiden to Become Jedi
You need to have a high influence with Handmaiden & have completed training with her. This is done
after finishing on Nar Shadda as the third or fourth planet. Find out that her mother was a Jedi from Kreia. After a long
talk with the Handmaiden you have the option to train her in the force. If you agree to train her, you will get a nice cut-screen.
Hint: Bao-Dur Uses the Force
Once you have a high influence with Bao-Dur a new line of questions opens up. This only happens once
so pay attention. He will tell you that traveling with you has had an effect on him. After this an offer to train him appears
and if you both have the same alignment he agrees.
Hint: Mandalorian Battle Circle
If you are have difficulty defeating the more advanced fighters on Dxun, simply cast the force powers
you want to use during the fight right before you talk to the Mandalorian Sergeant. Once you do that, speak with him and tell
him you want to fight, after this you can enter a fight already having the effects of your force powers, without being disqualified.
On Dantooine, you'll have to face Master Vrook if you've chosen the dark path. He continuously uses the
defensive force stance and heals himself almost every time you attack him. The easiest way to beat him is to cast whatever
level of Jedi speed you have training in, run to the back of the room behind either tree, and hide. This will allow you time
to heal if you've run low of health or force points. Get Vrook to follow you behind one of the trees and loose him there,
so he stays back behind the tree and you end up in the open room. While he's behind the tree plant a lot of mines in the path
between you and Vrook. Get his attention and make sure he takes a direct path to you through the mines. Vrook hits the mines
like a crazed bantha getting zapped with a Ghed stun stick and poof - ends up parts and pieces everywhere.
HInt: Handmaiden Handiness
After you have sparred with Handmaiden, she will be wearing only underwear. When you talk her into putting
something on, she uses her mother's robes. Whenever, you leave the Ebon hawk with her, Take the robes off and leave her without
clothes. Return to the Ebon Hawk and talk her into wearing the robes again. When you leave the Hawk one more time, remove
the robes again. You will see that there are two in your inventory list instead of one. You can do this as many times as you
want. They can sell for 1800 credits each and break down for 200 parts when creating other items.
Hint: Sure-Fire Silver Lightsaber
On Nar Shadaa there are two merchants, Geeda and Oondar. If you talk to Oondar he will complain about
a Not-male Rodian. Ask him why there is no line and he will tell you about Geeda after that, choose the dialogue option about
her. If you help him he will give you a discount.
Proceed to speak to Geeda about Oondar and she will give you a discount.
Talk to Oondar again and he will threaten you. Tell Geeda about the deal, and she will say you have to choose between Oondar
or herself. Side with Geeda and ask about opening trade routes. She will tell you that she can trade with Dantooine and Onderon
if you resolve the situiations on them.
Complete Dantooine then talk to her about opening trade routes then about
Dantooine. She will have more items to sell, including a Silver Lightsaber.
Hint: Pimp The Handmaiden (Infinite Credits)
You can do this glitch only on the Ebon Hawk and if you have access with Hand Maiden.
1: Spar
with Handmaiden. 2: Finish and put some clothes on your character. 3: Talk to Handmaiden and choose the dialogue "Do
you think you could put some clothes on?". Reply with "I disagree." 4: Exit the conversation and take her robe off. (You
can switch between any characters in the menu with BLACK). 5: Repeat until bored, then sell each robe for 2200 credits.
Submitted by Raging Fury
Hint: Heal And Attack In The Same Round
In order to do this, the character must be using one of the force cure powers, first, in combat, use
the force heal power. Then, quickly switch over to your combat options (Simply press the white button and pause it if your
not quick enough) be ready, because when the animation for the force heal starts, you want to choose one of your combat options.
This will make it look as if you have two actions cued up, two instances of the combat option you chose.
This is good,
as the second choice will change into your force heal. Continue to choose the combat option as your force heal animation comes
up and your character will continuously use an attack option and heal themselves in the same round. I used Master Heal and
Flurry with this, and it took me through the last several planets of the game. It's ideal for the more difficult encounters.
When you take the path of the male dark Jedi, you can gain influence with Hanharr, the wookie, until
you are able to ask him why he follows you. When you have enough influence, respond with the following:
"Why do you
follow me?" "Does that mean you serve me?" "What is this debt that you speak of?"
After this, always choose
the first choice. If you have enough influence, the scene will tell you influence: failure one time, then it'll say influence:success
after that. Doing this will give Hanharr +2 Strength and -2 Intelligence. Each time you do this, you'll get dark side points
and 1000 experience.
Here's where the best part is. If you get his intelligence to 0 and do it again, you'll go up
to 253 intelligence! Caution: If you do this too much you will get his strength too high then the game won't save properly.
If it saves, the glitch is fine.
Hint: Persuade Atton To Become Jedi
You must have a high influence over Atton for this to work (Ed - Well, duh.)
When playing
through as a good Jedi, go to Nar Shadda as your third or fourth world (it may or may not work earlier). DO NOT take Atton
with you. Go to the refugee area and explore it thoroughly; a couple of Twi'leks will come up to you and tell you something
about Atton's past.
Return to the Ebon Hawk, and talk to Atton. Play nice, get his side of the story, and eventually
you'll get the option of offering to teach him to use the Force. He may or may not take you up on it the first time, but with
enough persistence and influence you'll get him to agree to be taught.
Voila! One more Jedi Sentinel to add to your
collection, as well as the dubious pleasure of seeing Atton in Jedi robes.
Hint: Sith Academy Matriculation Answers
First get the datapad from the corpse that tells you to enter "New Recruit" into the computer, then head
down the hallway until you find a computer in one of the rooms off the areas off the main hallway. From there take the level
1 test by accessing the computer and enter 3401726-B853S5O0X001. The answers are as follows:
1. Freedon Nadd 2.
Twenty 3. Gizka 4. I always lie 5. passion - strength - power - victory
Hint: Free The Nadd's Tomb
In Freedon Nadd's tomb there are two rooms containing boxes which may only be opened by a computer terminal.
The first box gives you the choices of A) feb, B) dce, C) eba, D) fac, E) fdc, F) acd. The terminal asks you to choose
which of these has an error and the correct choice is "C".
The second box the computer terminal gives you an equation
to solve (6_2)_8_9_1=13. The answer to this question is (6*2)-8+9*1=13. If you remember your order of operations from
grade school, this should be easy!
Are you tired of carrying around OLD and UNNEEDED Datapads? Simply go to a Workbench, and break them
down to get 1 Component(s). You don't get a lot of Components, but it is a way to get rid of unwanted Datapads. Only breakdown
Datapads from missions that you have completed, or even better, Datapads from Peragus. Peragus Datapads are just one example.
Another example is after you goto Nar Shadda, Dantooine, Telos (the first time), Dxun/Onderon, and Korriban. Once you goto
Telos/Citadel Station for the Second time, you can use the Workbench at the 'merchant area' in the Entertainment Module, to
get rid of any unwanted/unneeded Datapads.
Hint: Fastest Method To Assemble Lightsaber
As soon as you leave Telos travel to Nar Shaddaa. Once there proceed into the central area and find the
zoning door to the Docks. Halfway across the Docks will be a door that leads to the Flophouse. Go to the end of the hallway
of this flophouse and the second to last door has a guy named Lootra. Taunt him into attacking. Also note that any characters
you can have in your party at this point will lose influence with you if they are with you when you kill him, so go alone.
His corpse will have a lightsaber part, there is a quest that as a reward he gives this part to you but the dark side gain
is minimal even for lightside characters.
Next if your alignment bar is about 25% good or bad you can return to the
Ebon Hawk for a special fight which will get you the last lightsaber part. If you are not 25% good or bad there are tons of
things to do in Nar Shaddaa to get the last of the points you need.(If you do not have a colored lightsaber crystal the merchant
Geeda will h ave one you can buy so don't scare her away) Now talk to Bao-Dur to have your saber made.
Hint: Beating Master Vrook
If you go dark side you will have to face Master Vrook in a one on one duel. Master Vrook is one tough
customer. After several attempts I found the way to beat him is to have the force focus power active (the little purple sphere).
And keep hitting him with Force lightnings. Once you get him low enough, Kreia will interrupt and give you a new Force form.
It looks like another purple sphere, but it absorbs the Force from the opponent. When you continue, Vrook will try to heal
himself (you probably should too).
Make sure the new ability is active and use Plague on him. With it's 100% chance
of hitting it's really the only thing that works. But every time you get him with that he will try to heal the poison. Keep
alternating Plage and Force lightning. He will run out of Force and start attacking you again. Just keep nailing him with
Force lightning, and when he has only a quarter of his strength left he will colapse, and you've won.
After you have finished Korriban talk to Disciple while your inside the Ebon Hawk. He will explain his
history about how he once was able to use the Force, but he lost the ability when he was younger. Then tell him that he maybe
able to return that power. If Your influence is strong enough he will trust you and you will train him. Disciple will then
become a Jedi Counsular.
Hint: Revive Dead Party Members
If one or both of your teammates is killed in a battle, get your own character to a safe distance out
of battle and have them use an item that does not bring anything up on the screen.
For example: a speeder that is
lying out in the open, or a door that won't open. After you use it your partner(s) will stand up and continue attacking. However,
when they get back up their health will be extremely low.
